Call of Duty's New Godzilla x Kong Finisher Is Intense

The new Godzilla x Kong bundle coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone features an over-the-top execution. Earlier this week, Call of Duty detailed its Season 2 Reloaded update, highlighting what's been added to Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and Warzone, including the revamped Vanguard map Das Haus, the new Juggermosh game mode, a new Zombies story mission, and more.

A major part of Season 2 Reloaded is the myriad of new crossover operator bundles set to arrive in Call of Duty. Coinciding with the release of its hit new sequel, Call of Duty is continuing its collaboration with Dune, adding the Harkonnen Hunter operator, which joins Paul Atreides, Feyd Rautha, and the Sardaukar operator, which had all previously been added to the game. Additionally, three entire Warhammer 40,000 bundles are set to come to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone during the remainder of Season 2 as well, with one of these packs featuring two operators and three weapon blueprints. Finally, ahead of the film coming later this month, Call of Duty revealed a Godzilla x Kong: New Empire bundle, which includes a futuristic Kong-inspired operator skin.

It's this Kong x Godzilla bundle that has garnered some attention on Twitter. CharlieIntel posted a short clip of the bundle's ridiculous «Kong's Knuckle Slamwich» finisher move in action on Call of Duty's popular Rust map. The clip showcased all three variations of the animation, one for a sneak-up behind an opponent, one for executing a prone enemy, and another for finishing a downed player. All three violent beatdowns end with the Kong player launching his victim into the sky screaming, netting Kong the elimination.

Since the clip took place on the notoriously small Rust map, the victim was launched way out of bounds. It would be interesting to know if, on a larger map, the victim would land on the other side of the map in-bounds, potentially landing on and harming or killing other players.
