Call of Duty: MW3 Leak May Reveal New Playlist

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 dataminer has found evidence of a new playlist coming soon that revolves around parkour, according to leaked footage and an in-game description. The evidence was found shortly after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 released its newest major update.

MW3's Season 3 patch dropped on April 3 and introduced new maps, modes, weapons, and more to the popular shooter. Leading up to the update's release, Activision shared some information on what events fans can expect to see during Season 3, including one titled Blaze Up that celebrates marijuana culture. This event is expected to launch sometime around April 20, which is when fans could see Modern Warfare 3's unique new mode.

Call of Duty dataminer BobNetworkUK found files referring to a mode titled «G3T HIGH» with a goal of climbing «to the very top faster than everyone else.» BobNetworkUK released footage of themselves playing on the mode's parkour map, which features a Retrowave art style that's a major departure from regular Call of Duty design. On the map, the user must race to the top by overcoming various movement-based obstacles. It's still unclear whether the unique mode pits multiple players against each other or is a solo endeavor, although the former seems more likely based on usualCall of Duty modes.

G3T HIGH will likely be a limited-time mode as part of a future event, similar to Modern Warfare 3's Warhammer 40K mode available last season. The leaked footage seems to nearly confirm that the mode is coming to the game soon, although users should still be cautious, seeing that Sledgehammer Games has not confirmed it yet.

This wouldn't be the first time that Call of Duty has featured a parkour mode.Black Ops 3 featured Free Run, a mode that showcased the game's jetpack-based movement by challenging players to complete various obstacle courses while being timed. Surprisingly, Black Ops 3 and its smooth movement recently broke into Xbox's top 10 best-selling games for February. But
