Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Makes Big Change to Popular Item

Following Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Season 2 Reloaded update, Sledgehammer Games has made the Stim Tactical Equipment reusable by allowing it to recharge after 25 seconds. This might sound like a familiar characteristic to fans, as some of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's predecessors incorporated a similar feature for the item.

Call of Duty's Season 2 Reloaded update made plenty of changes to Modern Warfare 3, including nerfs to powerful weapons like the BP50 and BAS-B. It also added one new map, a remastered Das Haus from Call of Duty: Vanguard, as well as the Bounty mode, which is basically Team Deathmatch with a twist. As for equipment, the major update also made some changes to the EMD Grenade, which is the Tactical item that allows users to temporarily track targeted users. Balancing the Stim is likely a delicate matter, as it can provide users with a massive advantage in gunfights if they manage to find cover and apply the item.

Following the previously mentioned 2019 and 2020 Call of Duty entries, development teams chose to nerf the Stim by removing its recharge aspect. Between Cold War and now, it was a single-use item that decreased in popularity. However, the Stim
