Broken Ranks Marks 2nd Anniversary With Gifts and Prepares for This Week's Major Update

Broken Ranks  is marking its second anniversary, with some gifts for the players and preparation for the next major update coming this week, Shadow of Hope.

The team has been working on a number of overhauls for a while, from completely reworking gearing to adding more content, and they’re not done just yet. One of the things they added was an endgame instancethat featured Sidraga, the Winged Lady. This took players over six months to finally beat. 

Shadow of Hope is their next big update, and while they haven’t released too many details just yet, the latest devblog has a few things to look forward to. Shadow of Hope will bring the next part of the main storyline and introduce a brand new area, Thalia. 

The game’s second anniversary is also approaching, and Whitemoon Games has decided to celebrate with some activities and gifts for all. Anyone that has logged in within the past 30 days (considered an active account) will get 7 days of free premium or a week's extension of any premium time you already have. If you haven’t logged in recently, you can still get the premium time in the next mailing, while those who are new can redeem a code, SOH, for the bonus starting January 25th, the day Shadow of Hope is set to release.

Since the update is coming,  on January 25th at 8:00 PM CEt,  all of the cooldowns for all difficulties of Selena and Aqua Regis will be reset. On the 26th, they’ll increase spawn rates for platinum chests through the 29th.

From February 2-9th there will be a Khold Birthday event quest to unlock and complete. To take part in the celebration and the event quest, you’ll receive some tokens you can use once the rules of participation have been revealed after the event begins. 

The team is also releasing a special anniversary skin in the shop. the Heurokratos’ Cuirass will be available through February 29th.
