Following its massive success on every platform, but most especially Steam, it stands to reason that the team behind would have additional plans for the game to provide players with even more content. Given the format and genre, an expansion adding new boss encounters and locations is just one of several possibilities for growing the already impressive game.

This is based on supposed audio files found by their unidentified source which seemingly feature content for the characters Buddha and Jade Emperor as well as Nazha; if the information is accurate, the expansions will likely focus on them and perhaps set up a full sequel. It's worth noting that Lunatic Ignus is a relatively new leaker on the scene and their claims have yet to be verified so fans should take this latest report with a big grain of salt.
