Black Myth: Wukong - How To Cure Poison

There are many damage types when facing enemies in the action RPG , such as Poison, which can feel overwhelming to deal with, especially in Chapter 1. When you first receive this status effect, it may not be immediately clear how to cure it and negate its effects. This can be extremely frustrating, especially in the middle of combat, as your health deteriorates.

While players may attempt many things, including using up their Goards, knowing how to cure yourself of this damage-over-time condition is crucial to your survival throughout Chapter 1 as The Destined One. This becomes more important as you progress through the game and enter the next realm, where the surrounding threats and enemies become even more formidable.

Black Myth: Wukong borrows a lot of elements from the souls series, but is it as difficult and can it be truly classed as a souslike game?

Players first confront the Poison status effect as they progress through Chapter 1, specifically when facing the Snake Patroller and Skeletal Snake Lesser Yaoguais. These enemies roam in Bamboo Grove, particularly in Snake Trail, leading up to the boss battle in against Guangmou.

When struck and attacked by these enemies, a green mist will instantly surround your body. Furthermore, your HP will begin to decline at a fairly quick rate, as indicated by the small green icon below, which shows that you are in a Poisoned state. You will also see a separate bar aside from your HP pool, showcasing your Poison intake, which will increase as your health goes down.

During the boss fight against Guangmao, a Yaoguai Chief, he summons many snakes into the battle arena, and they all release clouds of poison toward you. Make sure to roll and dodge out of the way of these to avoid the same Poisoned state.
