Black Desert Online Land of the Morning Light Seoul is Coming September 12th

Land of the Morning Light: Seoul is coming to Black Desert Online on September 12th. Pearl Abyss announced the news today with a new teaser trailer to get everyone ready for the next big expansion launch.

The team said that this expansion would be out later this year, but I think many of us probably thought it wouldn't be this soon. In just about three weeks, the next chapter will be here, so If you are procrastinating at all on progression tasks or quests or anything that you might need to get ready for the next big content drop, you have a couple of weeks left.

In the teaser, we get a bit of a bird's-eye view over the road, the gateway to the capital, that is now open for traversal. People going about their day in the  marketplace in front of a large and majestic gate to behold. After an ominous music beat, the trailer's narrator says, “But a beautiful flower tends to hide its thorns, and a high sun creates the darkest of shadows”.

This is, of course, another hint that behind all the beautiful locations, the lush green and floral spaces, the gate, the normal looking marketplace,  there is something dark on the way. 

As with theoriginal Land Of The Morning Light expansion content, Pearl Abyss took inspiration directly from real locations and landmarks in Korea. They sent teams to incorporate inspiration from real Korean legends,  and historical locations of the Joseon era. Those legends and folktales were a major source of inspiration for some of the content’s  most challenging and rewarding content, including epic boss fights.

While the team hasn’t shared lots of details up until this point,  with the expansion content  coming in just a few weeks,  we will surely get more details soon.
