Best Lego deals: Save on Star Wars, Batman, Icons, Friends

You never really grow out of loving Lego. Unfortunately, these plastic little bricks are expensive. Fortunately they go on sale pretty frequently, and as Lego-lovers ourselves we keep tabs on their prices. We’ve picked our favorite Lego deals out below, including options from several lines, such as Star Wars, Icons, Friends, Minecraft and Super Mario.

LEGO Friends Stephanie’s Sailing Adventure — $30, was $40

Lego Friends is a restyled version of Lego toys marketed toward girls. The mini-figures are more realistic, and they often come with larger, unique pieces. LEGO Classic Large Creative Brick Box — $35, was $60

Sometimes you just want a bunch of standard Lego pieces in a variety of colors. This pack is perfect for that. It’s 790 fairly standard pieces that will let you build cars, houses, knickknacks and doo-dads. It comes in a nice box in the shape of a Lego brick, so you can store other random bricks in it too. Face it, if you have small kids, all Lego sets eventually get mixed together in a box like this.
