Baldur's Gate 3 Player Discovers Morbid Reason Why Halsin Hasn't Shown Up at Their Camp

A Baldur's Gate 3 player online has made an extremely morbid discovery about why Halsin has never appeared at camp during their playthrough. Halsin is one of the most interesting companions in Baldur's Gate 3, but it seems unlikely that this player will encounter him again.

Larian's flagship CRPG Baldur's Gate 3 is crammed with details and discoveries, and it's hard to imagine that players will ever fully find everything it has to offer. It seems that all the time, new things are being discovered about the game, even if it's just a small detail that most would never encounter. Recently, one Baldur's Gate 3 player made a neat discovery about companion portraits, managing to figure out how they actually work in the game. It's definitely fascinating to see how much Larian has managed to put into the game, and it's great that this effort has been rewarded with financial and critical success.

Redditor finalcopy-2991 shared the morbid discovery with the Baldur's Gate 3 community online. After Halsin never appeared at camp, they accidentally stumbled upon his burnt corpse elsewhere on the map, caused by their very own wall of fire that was put up during a fight. This was three days after his initial death, so even Baldur's Gate 3's Scroll of Revivify won't work on resurrecting him. As strange as the discovery is, it is still a massive shame for that particular playthrough. Halsin is arguably one of the best Baldur's Gate 3 companions, both for his usefulness in combat and for his interesting story over the course of the game. To lose this to such a small mistake is extremely unfortunate, so hopefully, this player replays the game to experience everything Halsin has to offer.

It's been an interesting period in the realm of Baldur's Gate 3 news. Recently, Larian CEO Swen Vincke confirmed that any potential DLC or
