Baldur's Gate 3: Investigate The Selunite Resistance Quest Guide

Discovering the activities of the Selunite Resistance is an Act 2 quest chain in . It will take you to several locations across the Shadow-Cursed lands. While it is a rather obscure side quest, it does flesh out more of the lore about what is going on in the region.

Because this is an Act 2 exclusive quest, you must finish everything before moving on to finally confront Ketheric Thorm. You will have mostly the same party from Act 1 — with the possible additions of Halsin and/or Minthara, if you complete their side quests. You can take anyone on this quest, but Shadowheart may have additional quips due to her rivalry with Selunites.

Three main locations that have clues about the Selunites. You can go to them out of order, but you might not have all the necessary items and may feel the quest makes little sense. Instead, you should travel to them in the following order: Potter’s Workshop, Last Light Inn, Mason’s Guild. This will result in some backtracking, but make the quest much more coherent.

There are several combat encounters along the way. It is recommended to have a well-rounded party that both support each other and act solo. Having Wyll as a multiclassed Warlock can be extremely useful during the upcoming fights.

The Selunite quest begins at the Potter’s Workshop located at X: 30, Y: 10. While not directly part of the mission, the shop is currently infested with Meazels. These diminutive creatures will teleport party members away and cause silence, making it impossible to cast any magic in. Make sure everyone has a good means of melee damage or a way to dash back to the party.

Once the Meazels are killed, make a moderate perception check to discover a key hidden in the wall of the shop. Enter the shop to find the Potter’s Chest which starts the Investigate the Selunite Resistance quest, proper. If you failed the perception check, you can also lock pick it open with sleight of hand or the Knock spell.
