Baldur's Gate 3 Devs Tease Massive Crossover With One Of The Biggest Games Of 2022

is oozing with characters and scenarios that are almost begging to star in a crossover, but Larian Studio's latest suggestion may not be what fans expect. The massive RPG took the world by storm in 2023 but one year before it, another indie game that also predominately featured eldritch monsters similarly captivated the hearts of players looking for something unique. The action rogue-like may focus on a completely different set of mechanics, but it doesn't take much to see how a crossover could be plenty of fun.

While it's unlikely that an actual crossover between the two franchises will come to pass, the idea is certainly fun to ponder, and with Massive Monster still building upon, there's always a chance.

Melding the games' art styles to turn the realistic fantasy heroes into adorable cultists would be fun, especially if they're given unique traits to bring them closer to how they behave in the Forgotten Realms.
