Antstream Arcade is coming to PlayStation consoles

Retro game streaming service Antstream Arcade is coming to PlayStation consoles.

The subscription service lets players access a streaming library of over 1,300 retro games.

The full list of games available currently stands at 1,357, including 200+ Amiga games, nearly 300 arcade games, 350+ C64 games, 50+ Mega Drive games, 40+ SNES games and 350+ ZX Spectrum games.

Players can either buy a year’s subscription to the service for $39.99 / £39.99, or a Lifetime Pass Edition for $99.99 / £99.99.

Antstream CEO Steve Cottam announced plans to bring the service to PS4 and PS5 during the latest episode of the company’s Connect stream, which is viewable below.

He said Antstream will be sharing the official launch date with its partners in the coming weeks

It was also announced that the PS1 Net Yaroze games will soon be coming to Antstream, while Pico-8 developers can now submit their games to be included on the service. The first Pico-8 games will be Puzzles of the Paladin and Manbomber.

Antstream is already available on PC, Mac, Xbox, iOS, Android and Samsung TVs.

Following last month’s iOS launch, Antstream has also announced a seven-day free trial, allowing potential subscribers to try the service on Apple platforms before making a purchase.
