Animal Crossing Player Gifted Extremely Rare Item Just Minutes Into Playthrough

One very lucky player was gifted a rare item within minutes of starting the game. Throughout the years, the games have had many rare items that players are able to obtain, some that come with boosts to the island's rating and others that just look cool while wearing them. A lot of these rare items only appeared in a few games, and players wish that Nintendo would bring them back in or even the next game in the series.

Reddit user ducky_wuz_here started up an emulated playthrough of the, an expanded Japanese-exclusive version of the first game, and was met by Tabby, who wanted to give them a little something to help them along their way.

This «something» just so happened to be the Master Sword, which is the main sword Link uses in. This item is an extremely rare and lucky item and can help boost their «Happy Home Academy» rating by the lucky number 777. This item is so rare that some players didn't even know it existed.

Animal Crossing might have a kind and wholesome reputation now, but the series used to have some villagers who were rather mean to the player.

Tabby handing over a Master Sword as a «basic necessity» was a hilarious situation for this player to find themselves in. Most players are gifted an outfit or artwork, but something as rare as this is quite uncommon. Players who are starting over on their saves, regardless of which game they are playing, take a big risk of having to go through the tedious task of redecorating their homes and getting the fun and rare items they were used to, so this was likely a welcomed, yet unexpected, gift for them.
