The AMD Ryzen 7 8700F will hit the market on May 14, according to a newly emerged Amazon listing. The premature page also leaked the price point of the upcoming AMD processor, which may be a bit higher than some enthusiasts have been hoping for.

AMD officially announced the Ryzen 7 8700F and Ryzen 5 8400F in mid-April 2024, shortly after name-dropping them at a company event in China. However, the announcement did not include any pricing information, nor did it attach a release date or release window to either CPU.

Twitter user @momomo_us found another premature listing for the Ryzen 5 8400F, which attached a $189.99 price tag to the budget CPU. Both pages were pulled promptly after going live in early May, with that turn of events possibly signaling that the information contained on them was legitimate.
