allows pirating players to have more than just a simple parrot as a pet aboard their pirate ships, with parrots not even being an option at launch. This naval combat game currently only has a couple of cat or lemur animal companion options, with most of those being limited to special events. Therefore, many players are hoping that the list of available in-game pets will expand quickly. Having a pet on board a pirate ship may not be a necessity in the game, but having this option available is a fantastic feature that needs to be expanded on.

Cats and lemurs in are labeled as cosmetic ship items and do not do anything for the game mechanics, although one could feasibly roleplay that they are helping keep rodents out of the ship or are at least increasing the ship's morale. The game itself focuses on naval combat, battling and looting other ships while traveling across the Indian Ocean, and can be played single-player or in multiplayer online. Of course, having a little cat with a peg leg or a lemur with an eye patch makes everything much more satisfying.

Only players who ordered the Premium Edition of will have access to this spooky girl known as Death's Hand. The lemur is fully equipped for a pirate life, with her own pirate hat and vest, a pistol strapped to her back, and a skull mask covering her face. She is unlocked only after completing Bloody Bones' Legacy in the exclusive series of quests called the Ballad of Bloody Bones, which is limited to the Premium Edition. As she is safely situated aboard the player's ship, she is sure to be a fearsome sight for anyone looking on.

Sadly, if players have not previously unlocked the Snow Leopard Cat, it is not currently possible to get this sweet feline. The only way to have gotten it was to have earned it as a Twitch Drop when was in open beta, although many hope that it will make a return appearance in future exclusive drops.
