Alkahest is An Action Adventure RPG Set in a Murky Medieval World

Developer Push On has revealed its new action adventure RPG, Alkahest. The game is set in a murky medieval world and is aimed at players who loved games such as Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, thought it also takes inspiration from Dishonored and Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Players will take on the role of the first born son of a petty lord in the kingdom of Kadanor. Kadanor’s stability is in question as its three houses contend with each other for control over the region. Don’t expect heroics in Alkahest, the game’s Steam description spells out the fact that the player isn’t some hero. To be successful in the world of Alkahest, players will need to prove their worth.

Players will explore a feudal world filled with castles, forests, villages, and other “realistic settings” and engage in dynamic combat featuring combos and plenty of interaction with the environment. Kick enemies off of cliffs, drops trees on their heads, or just set them on fire if you don’t want to be too fancy. There are plenty of tools to use in combat, as well. Alchemical potions, daggers, relics, and even a rope can be used in combat to deadly effect.
