Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 Details Leak Online; To Release Next Year

Details on the unannounced Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 emerged online, providing a first look at the second entry in the series which is supposedly releasing next year.

According to a leaked presentation, the game known as Project Manacondo is the next chapter in the series, and it will improve upon the mechanics, and atmosphere of the original. Unlike its predecessor, the game will not feature customizable characters but instead five archetypes - The Swift, The Deadly, The Silent, The Commander, and The Ranger. Each of these archetypes will sport their unique weapons and special abilities, which players can put to use in the game's new story campaign together with two other players. Alongside the main game mode, Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 will also feature a new mode called Annihilation, which is said to be a new spin on Horde mode. Most interestingly, the leaked presentation also confirms how the game will not feature any sort of microtransactions, which is rare for this type of game in this day and age.
