Alien: Rogue Incursion has been dated with a new trailer

Alien: Rogue Incursion has received a December 18, 2024 release date.

Announced earlier this year, the single-player action-horror game is coming to PlayStation VR2, SteamVR and Meta Quest 3.

It’s being developed and published by LA-based Survios, the VR specialist behind games including Puzzle Bobble 3D, The Walking Dead: Onslaught, Westworld Awakening and Creed: Rise to Glory.

“The game stars Zula Hendricks, an unbreakable ex-Colonial Marine, on a dangerous mission that brings her to the uncharted planet Purdan, and the secrets hiding beneath its surface,” reads an official description.

“With her sentient AI companion, Davis 01, Zula must fight her way to the heart of the infested Gemini Exoplanet Solutions research facility.

“There she will need to survive deadly attacks from the most cunning Xenomorphs ever encountered and discover new horrors and threats that once unleashed could spell the end for humankind.”

Alien: Rogue Incursion is available to pre-order in two editions. The Standard Edition costs $39.99 / £32.99 and includes the base game only, while the $49.99 / £39.99 Deluxe Edition incudes an armour skin, a weapon skin, and “more to come”.

Customers who pre-order either edition of the game will also receive armour and weapon skins inspired by Alien: Romulus, which hits cinemas this week.

The latest movie in the Alien series pays tribute to Creative Assembly’s 2014 game Alien Isolation, according to film director Fede Álvarez.
