After 22 Years, A Surprising Star Wars Game Is Reportedly Coming To PS Plus

PlayStation Plus is reportedly about to gain a classic game and it may just signal that a whole new selection of games could soon be added to the subscription service. One of the biggest benefits of users signing up to PS Plus Extra is that they gain access to a library of «essential» titles that were beloved on their original systems. While not every game is given an opportunity to return and bask in nostalgic adoration, it's always refreshing to see underrated gems appearing on the service for new generations.

Per Gematsu, the 2002 PlayStation 2 game game was recently listed on the PlayStation Store as an emulated version of the original game that will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This version will sport upgraded graphics, a quick save feature, the ability to rewind, and custom video filters. The game is currently listed as arriving on the storefront on June 11 but no official announcement or reveal has yet to take place; given the detail included in the listing, it seems unlikely to be inaccurate.
