2 New Pokemon Squishmallow Plushes Officially Revealed

Pokemon and Squishmallow continue to partner up, and the next two Pokemon Squishmallows have been revealed as Dragonite and Marill. This follows a prior leak indicating that these Pokemon were in the works.

Dragonite and Marill date back to Gen 1 and 2 of the Pokemon series, respectively, and have had numerous fans since then. Dragonite remains one of the most powerful choices in Pokemon games, and Marill's charming design appeals to players, especially after it gained a baby pre-evolution in Gen 3. Pokemon fans who consider these two among their favorites will want to keep their eyes open for these upcoming Squishmallows.

The Pokemon Center has teased the two new Squishmallow designs in a recent email newsletter. Only a portion of the two new Pokemon Squishmallows are visible, but it's clear who they are. The Dragonite's rounded shape is cute and stylized in compared to its normal bipedal design, but the Marill looks almost like its evolution, Azumarill, with its rounded egg-like shape. Unfortunately, at this time, the Pokemon Company has not announced when the two designs will become available. Fans should stay tuned to ensure that they get their orders in early.

Typically, Pokemon Squishmallows go on sale at The Pokemon Center first, and then arrive at retail chains like Walmart and Target after the exclusive time period. The Pokemon Center variants have a unique tag and label, but the plush Pokemon decor is otherwise identical to their retailer counterparts. However, demand can often be high for these toys, so those who really like Dragonite or Marill should make sure to grab one as soon as they can.

When it comes to Pokemon plushes, there's plenty of toys to choose from, including those from Squishmallow. Squishmallow Pokemon are a bit unique in that they have a rounded body and are a more stylized representation of some of the most recognizable Pokemon. However, for fans who want something that's a little more accurate, there are plenty of options available
