12 games are leaving PlayStation Plus in June, including Grand Theft Auto 5

A dozen games will be removed from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue in June, Sony has confirmed.

The list of titles leaving Game Catalogue—which houses a selection of downloadable PS4 and PS5 games for Extra and Premium tier subscribers—is headlined by Grand Theft Auto 5, which was added to the service in December.

As confirmed on the PlayStation Store’s ‘Last chance to play’ page (via Push Square), members have until June 18 to play the following titles.

PS Plus Premium:

In comparison, Sony removed over 25 games from the Game Catalogue this month, including Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition and seven Final Fantasy titles.

May’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles were released on Tuesday. They include Red Dead Redemption 2, Deceive Inc., Crime Boss: Rockay City, 2Xtreme, G-Police and Worms Pinball.

Sony’s Days of Play sale will reportedly return next week. The promotion, which has been running annually for a handful of years, usually features discounts on PlayStation hardware, software and services.

Notably, on several occasions it has featured some of the biggest discounts on PlayStation Plus subscriptions, such as 30% in 2020 and 25% last year.

Take-Two said last week that Grand Theft Auto 5, which “reached $1 billion in retail sales faster than any other entertainment release in history,” has shipped approximately 200 million units since its release in 2013.

The company also narrowed the Grand Theft Auto 6 release window from next year to the fall/autumn of 2025.
