The overarching power fantasy created by the multitude of weapons and destructive Stratagem choices makes every mission feel exciting while still being unique. This is coupled with the real genius behind , its horizontal progression system, which offers much of the game's arsenal early.

Weapons, new and returning, have trickled out in premium Warbonds after the initial free one gave players a basic but varied armory. Each premium Warbond is filled with three new primaries along with a new secondary. Though locking weapons behind a paywall can usually be seen as unwanted monetization, avoids this problem. This is due to how the premium currency Super Credits can be easily acquired through focused farming or natural play.

An option for a returning secondary from the original game is the FLAM-24 Pyro. The Pyro is a smaller version of the Incinerator support weapon but with the drawbacks of less ammo and range.
