One of these mechanical keyboards under $100 must be the one that solves my keyboard choice paralysis

I've been on the hunt for a new mechanical keyboard—ideally a cheap mechanical keyboard, if I'm being honest—for about six months now. Why has it taken me so long? It's the choice paralysis for me. I allowed our keyboard geek Jacob Ridley to tell me way too many things about how to pick one earlier this year and instead of decisively acting on that information I've entered the research event horizon where I will infinitely grow closer to making a decision without ever managing to arrive there.

As an unrepentant tabletop obsessive, I reckon these are the 5 coolest board game deals in this year's Prime Day sale

It's amazing how cheap it can be these days to amass a killer board game collection, if you strike when the deals are right. This year's Prime Day has some real gems at impressively deep discounts, including some of the most interesting releases of recent years.

What with next-generation GPUs likeNvidia's Blackwell-based cards rumored to be right around the corner, you might be wondering if now's a good time to buy a new graphics card at all. After all, if new models are coming soon, what's the point in laying down your money now when hot new silicon is likely coming at the end of this year?

Fight me: 14-inch is peak gaming laptop and these are the only Prime Day gaming laptop deals I'd personally consider buying today

I'll be honest, Best Buy has kinda broken my heart. Just a few days ago it had the mother of all 14-inch gaming laptop deals, with the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 OLED—our absolute favorite compact gaming laptop—on sale for just $1,100. Sadly, by Monday the Zephyrus G14 was back up to $1,600. That's still not bad for such a gorgeous gaming laptop, one with a full unibody aluminum chassis, great performance, and striking looks. But it's not great.

Add a splash of color to your life with these Prime Day Xbox Wireless controller deals

Xbox Wireless controller | Purple | Wireless | $64.99$49.99 at Newegg (save $15)Microsoft makes a mean controller that's tough to beat for the money. You can score a few different color Xbox pads for less cash right now, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better controller for the same money. Maybe the DualSense, but depends which stick layout you prefer. The multi-colored versions are on offer at $45 right now, but you can get the plain black version for just $40.

If you love gaming as much as I do, then load up on NVMe storage with these 4 TB Prime Day SSD deals

Silicon Power UD90 | 4 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000 MB/s read | 4,500 MB/s write | $239.99 $208.99 at Amazon (save $31) At just $0.05 per GB, this is a pretty ridiculous amount of SSD storage for your money. It's not full Gen4 speed but for backups and general game storage, it's more than fast enough. Throw one of these in your gaming PC and you'll be set for years.

We'd all love a megabucks OLED panel but I'd happily have one of these cheap Prime Day gaming monitors on my desk from just $89

The sky-high cost of the best OLED gaming monitors versus OLED TVs is something of a conundrum, what with 27-inch 1440p OLED monitors being priced up with 48-inch 4K OLED TVs. But here's the thing. LCD monitors are still very good and can be had a startlingly low prices.

I'm a little obsessed with the Razer Blade laptops and these latest Prime Day gaming deals are painfully tempting

Razer Blade 15 | RTX 4070 | Core i7 13800H | 15-inch | 1440p | 240 Hz | 16 GB DDR5-5200 | 1 TB SSD | $2,799.99$1,599.99 at Amazon (save $1,200) This is the cheapest we've seen an RTX 4070 Blade 15 going for in… maybe ever? I can't find any evidence to suggest this modern spec has been any cheaper, anyways. You're still paying a premium for the Razer badge, but the company does make a mean laptop with an all-metal chassis and excellent performance.
