Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players discover that the rare Herba Mystica resource can be earned more reliably from the newly added 7-star Venusaur Tera Raid. It was a big week for fans of the Pokemon franchise as the annual anniversary event revealed plenty of new announcements for current games as well as a tease of the future. The biggest reveal for many was Pokemon Legends: Z-A, bringing players back to the Kalos region and confirming the return of Mega Evolutions. Unfortunately, the teaser trailer didn't reveal much else and with a 2025 launch date, it seems players have a bit longer to wait for new details.
The announcement of Pokemon Legends: Z-A during the February 27 Pokemon Presents launched a new wave of speculation leading up to the game's release, and with it, a Pokemon Legends: Arceus player has already discovered a key detail connecting the two games. What is currently known about Legends Z-A is scarce, and fans are now clamoring to find as much information as possible, potentially left in the details of other games, such as Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

The upcoming will involve a new adventure in the Kalos region, particularly in Lumiose City, and features many of the familiar Pokémon who were introduced in the games. The second in the series of games, this one has a very urban and futuristic feel to it, as Lumiose City is redeveloped to be a comfortable place for people and Pokémon alike. So far, only colorful neon shadows have been shown in the first trailer for the game, giving early hints as to which Pokémon will be included.
Pokémon Legends Z-A will seemingly take place entirely in one city.
Today was Pokémon Day, marking the release of the original Game Boy titles in Japan, and Nintendo and The Pokémon Company used the occasion to reveal what’s coming next for the franchise. The big news was the announcement of the next major core entry in the series, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which won’t be coming until 2025. This means 2024 will be the first year in a long time without any new console Pokémon game, although fans may not actually be that upset by that, as many have been urging Game Freak to take more time with their games following the messy launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
