Hades II is now available in Early Access for PC players. After performing a technical test from April 16 to 29, Supergiant Games said Early Access for the “bewitching sequel” would follow “relatively soon after.” The developer lived up to its word, as a week after wrapping the preliminary test, PC players can now buy and play the highly anticipated roguelike title for $30.
Anticipated roguelike sequel Hades II was announced back in 2022, and we knew an early access launch was coming sometime in mid-2024, but a specific release date hadn’t been provided by developer Supergiant Games. Hades 2 developer Supergiant Games has announced that the technical test is almost over, and fans will soon be able to play the game through Early Access. Supermassive Games recently held a «technical test» earlier this month, which gave eager fans a chance to play Hades 2 early. This test period was different from Early Access, as the players were randomly selected from a pool who signed up for the chance, as opposed to being available to everyone.

A recent job listing on Santa Monica Studio's website hints at a new God of War game in development. The God of War series capped off the Norse saga with 2022'sRagnarok, which was followed up with 2023's free-to-play Valhalla DLC, both of which set up plot lines for future games.
The 5e ruleset has an abundance of playable races for players to choose from, many of which are based on real-world animals. It's not difficult for characters to transform into animals, as this is the point of the druid's Wild Shape ability in , and there are different spells that allow the player to shift form. But there are also plenty of options for playing an animal the whole time. It just depends on whether a player wants to spend the entire game playing as a rabbit or a cat with a sword.
