A highly anticipated mod for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was canceled shortly before launch because the developers received a cease and desist letter from Activision.
In an attempt to reduce the increasingly large download size of Call of Duty games, Warzone is being officially separated from premium Call of Duty games. The Activision developers are gearing up to make significant changes to the Call of Duty HQ launcher on PC, so those interested in Warzone can only download files specifically for Warzone.
It wouldn’t be a Call of Duty launch without conversations about large file sizes, but Activision is looking to address those issues with a series of updates over the next few months.
