Well, a decade after its initial release, the game is finally being freed from its handheld prison with a remaster making its way to console and PC next year, and I for one am very stoked about this news.
Arrowhead has finally released a new patch for Helldivers 2, which allows players to feel stronger when they should and adds more diversity to their gameplay. In this update, they did a significant overhaul of the anti-tank, armor penetration, and health and armor values. Overall, the weapons and stratagems have been balanced, and enemies have been reworked to make the game a more enjoyable experience. As a result of this, the player count tripled. The day before the patch rolled out, the player count hit a 22,000 peak. However, post-patch, it climbed to a 68,000 peak once it fully rolled out.
