After over a decade, CD Projekt Red finally seems to be closing the door on . The sci-fi RPG was originally announced in May 2012, with a cinematic teaser trailer following soon after in January 2013, but the title was finally released in 2020, albeit not in the state many expected, as there were many complaints that the game was riddled with bugs, performance issues, or was just completely broken, especially on the Xbox One and PS4 consoles, which were the only console versions of the game at the time, with it being playable through backward compatibility on Xbox Series X/S and PS5, but not receiving a next-gen patch until much later.
