10 Best Warhammer Games Of All Time, Ranked

There have been a plethora of games across the decades that have become fan favorites and cult classics. While it doesn't quite cover the breadth of the Black Library books, the video games are some of the best ways to get invested in the brand.

Age of Mythology: Retold review

How the mighty are fallen. In a bygone era, Tiberium harvesters and chariot archer rushes were a mainstay on my monitors, and my keyboards bore careworn lines where the 'build archery range' shortcut keys lay. It was a time of plenty, but modern real-time strategy games are far rarer, and that means the stakes always feel high when one arrives. Particularly one that starts with Age of...

I'm not watching trailers this weekend, I'm playing this ridiculously good RTS about ants

It's one of those grand weekends of lots of trailers, aka the 2024 summer gaming showcases, but I'm not watching those. I'm playing Empires of the Undergrowth, an absolutely excellent RTS about controlling an ant colony. I'm enjoying it so much, in fact, that the only one of the shows I'm going to break for is ours—The PC Gaming Show. Otherwise I'm only putting down the reins of my little ants for work. Like what I'm doing as I write this.

Another year, another price hike for Warhammer miniatures

In what has become an annual tradition, Games Workshop has announced an across-the-board price increase to its miniatures for the popular Warhammer tabletop games. Games like Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, and the recently launched Warhammer: The Old World are titans in tabletop miniatures, but are often lamented as some of the most expensive miniatures skirmish games that you can play.

I played Fire Emblem Engage on easy mode, and it got me back into gaming

I allowed myself to play Fire Emblem Engage on the easiest possible mode, and it finally got me back into gaming. The first time I picked up a Fire Emblem game back in 2010, a friend told me that the only correct way to play is in Classic mode with permanent death. For some reason, I took that to heart, and I played each subsequent game ready to restart my console during every skirmish and story battle so that I didn’t lose any of my friends. Due to unexpected upheavals in my personal life over the past few years, I mostly stopped gaming, even though I kept buying new titles I'd typically play. That included Persona 5: Royal, which I have yet to even touch, and Fire Emblem Engage, which sat sealed in my cabinet for over a year.

BOE Allegedly Outpriced Samsung To Win iPhone SE 4 OLED Orders From Apple

Apple’s iPhone SE 4 OLED orders were previously said to be fought over by suppliers Samsung and BOE. Given that this is the company’s low-cost offering slated to launch sometime in 2025, procuring cheaper displays would be Apple’s top priority since this component is largely dependent on how expensive a smartphone gets. On this occasion, a new report claims that BOE has apparently won the skirmish against Samsung on the pricing front and will likely be the exclusive panel supplier for the iPhone SE 4.
