Not only is the galaxy free once more, but all Helldivers have received a special gift in the form of a minute-long break inclusive of the time it takes to read the announcement. Congratulations, folks; you earned it.

It's the calm before the storm in Helldivers 2. Operation Swift Disassembly was a success and the Automatons have literally been wiped off the map. For as much as we're enjoying our victory and Arrowhead is faithfully sticking to the bit that robots are now extinct, we know by now that something is coming. We might've gotten a first glance at that something today in the form of a «rogue» ship upgrade that briefly appeared for players.

If you've been playing Helldivers 2, chances are you've probably been booted to your desktop after extracting—I sure have. Typically, this bug causes a premature return to civilian life at the end of a mission, which is extra frustrating since they tend to take over half an hour to complete. At least, if you're as much of a sample-hungry completionist as I am.
