I've been shown Remnant 2's third (and largest) DLC The Dark Horizon, as well as its free roguelike Boss Rush mode and endgame progression system—and it's Gunfire Games' biggest flex so far

Remnant 2 was one of my favourite games from last year, in part because it knows exactly what it wants to do, does it very well, and doesn't overstay its welcome. It continued to impress with its DLC The Awakened King and The Forgotten Kingdom. Both offer an expansion to the game's core systems—new classes and items—as well as a solid 5-8 hour campaign for a very reasonable price ($10/£8.50 a pop).

Vampire: The Masquerade – Reckoning of New York just feels like the adventures of the World of Darkness' most annoying kindred

Here's a thing about me: I loved Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York, the sequel to 2019's good-but-not-great visual novel Coteries of New York. Its blend of excellent art, a killer soundtrack, and writing that—so far as I'm concerned—captured the true, stifling horror of the World of Darkness struck me so hard that it inspired my first-ever published piece of games writing, effectively putting me where I am today.

RedMagic Titan 16 Pro review

Titan 16 Pro really stands out from the rest of the RedMagic gaming laptop lineup because, uh… there isn't one. RedMagic has never made a laptop before. It's made gaming phones, gaming accessories, monitors, and mouse pads, but the Titan 16 Pro is the company's first foray into actual laptop territory. On paper it looks pretty good, with a high-wattage GPU, high-refresh panel, and DDR5-5600 RAM, but can it match the competition?

Zotac Zbox Magnus One review

Not long ago I embarked on a small form-factor odyssey with the Fractal Terra. Call me a self-flagellant, but I cherished every minute of the problem-encountering, solution-finding process. «Measure twice, cut once» they say, and that's absolutely the philosophy when you're working within such tight volume constraints. You need confidence that your GPU, CPU, and cooler, PSU and memory choices are all going to fit, and that you can adequately cool everything, before the point of purchase. Literally half the job is research and measurement. There were spreadsheets.

Dragon's Dogma 2 patch introduces a casual mode, which stops your sick pawns from blowing everyone in a town up, among other things

Dragon's Dogma 2 and its reception was a bit of a wild ride to follow—an otherwise bombastic, colourful RPG was bogged down by some mind-meltingly foolish microtransactions, the optics of which were far worse than the reality.

Modders are rejecting FromSoft's recent Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree nerf by restoring the final boss to his former strength

The latest patch for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree made some surprising changes, one of which was nerfing the last boss of the DLC, Promised Consort Radahn. But some players have decided that this is a move in the wrong direction and have begun modding these changes out.

Helldivers 2's buff-happy patch is here, and I'm already feeling the flames of liberty burn bright once again

Patch 01.001.100 for Helldivers 2—which forms part of the game's 60 day update plan to completely overhaul its approach to weapon variety and enemy heavies—is finally here, and it's a doozy.
