Until Dawn system requirements are here, and support for ultrawide and Dualsense haptics are in

PlayStation exclusive Until Dawn is making the jump to PC next month, a little short of a decade after its PS4 debut. It's a branching horror story about a group of young people stuck in an awful situation in a remote locale, an evergreen setting for horror of the slasher variety. Sony released some details about its PC version today, which will release at the same time as a revamped PS5 version, and the good news is that PC support hasn't been an afterthought.

European Consumer Organization alleges game companies including Activision, Electronic Arts, Epic, and Ubisoft are 'tricking' consumers with premium in-game currencies

The European Consumer Organization, along with 22 member organizations from 17 countries, has filed a complaint with the authorities who enforce EU consumer protection laws accusing Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Ubisoft, and other major game companies of «purposefully tricking consumers» with in-game currencies that are «used to confuse and disconnect consumers from the real value of their in-game spending.»

If you get kicked out of your Steam Family, the slot is locked for a year, so you'd better get along—here's how Steam's new family sharing system works

Steam's old Family Sharing feature, which allowed members of the same household to play each other's Steam games, has been replaced with the new Steam Families system, which graduated from beta this week. The revamped system does the same thing as the old one, but adds new features and comes with some new stipulations, including a region restriction.

Valve politely asks that you only use Steam's family sharing for 'close family members' in a 'household,' but let's be real: everyone shares their games with Discord friends

Steam's latest family sharing system, just called Steam Families, comes with lots of rules designed to keep it from turning into a game lending free-for-all. Year-long cooldown periods prevent us from joining and leaving Steam Family groups as often as we want, for example.

WoW: The War Within's new mini dungeons are annihilating solo players while groups sleepwalk through them for 'free' loot

Delves are World of Warcraft's new mini dungeons that can be done solo, and they reward some of the best loot in The War Within's first season. But players have found that they're exponentially harder alone than with a group, which has squashed the hope that they would be a new solo alternative to normal endgame activities like raids and Mythic+ dungeons.

This incredible Stardew Valley Lego build won an award and got a surprise visit from ConcernedApe

If there's one thing that Stardew Valley players and Lego builders have in common, it's an impressive level of dedication to executing a creative vision. Stardew players are known for optimizing farm layouts that are equal parts beauty and efficiency, so it's no surprise that one of them went and built the entirety of Pelican Town in Lego. The feat took about 2 years to complete, its creator told PC Gamer.

The Steam Deck is on sale for 25% off, but maybe not the model you want

Do I sometimes look at the webpage steamdeck.com/en/oled with longing, wishing my launch Steam Deck had that better battery life, that luxurious screen, and that quieter cooling? Would it be embarrassing to admit that? Perhaps instead I should say that I've held off on splurging on a second Deck when I know my LCD model is still perfectly good, because while those OLED updates are appealing, they're not vital enough to get me to drop $550. I might be in danger if Valve was discounting the OLED the way it's currently marking down the 512GB LCD Steam Deck, though.
