Epic has removed the Yoda Back Bling and several other Star Wars cosmetics from Fortnite. The move is a reaction to widespread reports of game crashes that are seemingly caused by some weird interaction between the Yoda Back Bling and Fortnite's Zoidberg Scuttle emote.
Apple Vision Pro is getting a new VR experience based on Marvel’s What If? from Marvel Studios and ILM Immersive. The Marvel’s What If? animated series first premiered on Disney+ in 2021 and featured a compilation of stories from across the MCU’s multiverse, as narrated by Uatu the Watcher. These stories present alternate scenarios that retell key moments from the MCU films, with many of the actors from the movies reprising their roles. The second season of Marvel’s What If? premiered in late 2023, with a third season currently in production.
During the new campaign quests for World of Warcraft Patch 10.2.7, Dark Heart, players unlock five new Void Elf-themed transmogs and a Dragonriding drake customization. Though these new World of Warcraft cosmetics match the Void Elf Heritage armor perfectly, characters can use these items regardless of race.
Nintendo has released a new update for its Nintendo Switch Online app. The app is Nintendo’s replacement for a chat function on the Switch family of consoles. Instead of having a headset attachment or integrating Discord like the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, Nintendo decided to create an app for smartphones that allows Nintendo Switch Online users to communicate.

Sonic Rumble, a new multiplayer Sonic the Hedgehog game, has finally been confirmed following months of leaks and rumors. The most recent game was Sonic Dream Team, a mobile spin-off that launched on Apple Arcade in December. The CEO of Battlefield developer Electronic Arts confirmed the next entry into the franchise will be a live-service title. The Battlefield franchise remains one of the longest-running first-person shooter series and an iconic IP in the video game industry, cultivating a global hardcore fan base with roots tracing as far back as 2002. Now, EA is working on the next mainline entry in the franchise in the hopes of releasing another successful live-service title.
Final Fantasy 14 players can soon claim an outfit from the series' long history, as the Imp Attire from Final Fantasy 6 will be added to the game during the annual Make-It-Rain Campaign. The upcoming Final Fantasy 14 campaign will let players earn extra points and housing items by playing mini-games in the Manderville Gold Saucer.
