Pokémon TCG Collectors Can Finally Get Their Hands On One Of The Hardest-To-Get Items Of 2023

fans based in the United States can sigh in relief as one of the game's most notorious «missing» products is finally available. The Jirachi V Box, which bundles together several packs alongside a highly sought-after Jirachi V card, has been a mystery for over a year now as the product was released back in August 2023 in Europe with promises of it coming to the United States shortly after. Despite months of waiting, word on the Jirachi V Box soon dried up, leading many to believe the launch was scrapped.

Fortunately, that's not the case as Poké Beach has confirmed that the long-awaited Jirachi V Box is now available at Walmart in the United States. Retailing for $21.99, it's currently unknown if The Pokémon Company intends for a wider release or if the product is being kept as a Walmart exclusive for the time being. In any case, it's great news for collectors who have eagerly been looking for Jirachi V considering the bundle is the only way to get the normal version of the card; the Full Art version released alongside the rest of .

The history of the Jirachi V Box is confusing and has perplexed fans for many months. As mentioned by Poké Beach, the product first hit Europe a year after the Pokémon V trend had already passed asplayers and collectors were moving past the era to embrace the games. Given this late launch, it's even more bizarre that the box took as long as it has to finally debut in the United States given that the is in the middle of the set.

It could be the case that the Jirachi V box was created as a means to fill a promo gap after a different card was canceled. There's no way of knowing if that's the case though, so the mystery of why the Jirachi V box has taken so long to come to the United States may never be solved. At the very least, fans can rest easy knowing that they finally have access to the card.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is arriving on the mobile gaming market soon, and with the benefits of technology, some of these cards are truly incredible.
