Pokémon GO Spotlight Hour Schedule For October 2024
October 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting month for players, with plenty of spooky celebrations to enjoy and a fresh lineup of Spotlight Hour stars to hunt down and catch every Tuesday evening. Fitting with the Halloween theme of the month, you'll be able to catch a range of creepy-yet-cute Pokémon including Gastly, Duskull, and Litwick.
The weekly Spotlight Hours are some of the most popular mini-events in the calendar. Every Tuesday between the hours of 6 PM and 7 PM local time, a specific Pokémon will spawn more frequently in the wild. Each Spotlight Hour event also features a bonus, such as double Candy or Stardust when catching or transferring Pokémon, so it's a good opportunity to stock up on important resources, too.
There are five Spotlight Hour events to look forward to in October, although one of them features three headliners instead of the usual solo headliner. You can see all of the Spotlight Hours for the month, as well as their accompanying bonuses and Shiny availability, in the table below:

All of the Spotlight Hour headliners that have been confirmed so far have the potential to be Shiny. The odds of finding a rare Shiny variant aren't boosted during Spotlight Hour events, sadly, but many Trainers take advantage of the increased wild spawns to try and hunt one down anyway.
The average Shiny rate for wild spawns in is believed to be around 1-in-500, although this does vary for some Pokémon who have consistently boosted odds. This means finding them is going to be very difficult.
