Star Wars Outlaws invites you to get engrossed in not one, but many worlds. While it does share a lot of commonalities with other Ubisoft titles, specifically the best open-world games, it does break the mold in some appealing ways. Playing as a non-Force sensitive rogue named Kay, you will dive deep into the criminal underbelly of smugglers, rogues, and mercenaries all across the galaxy.

After years of Assassin Creed fans begging Ubisoft to take the series to Japan, the company is finally doing just that when it releases Assassin’s Creed Shadows this November. In a new video published on YouTube, Ubisoft showcases the distinct playstyles of the game’s dual protagonists Naoe and Yasuke. For many fans of looter-shooters, it’s hard to find a series quite as compelling as The Division. With two successful games in the franchise already under its belt, Ubisoft is clearly aware that it’s a meaningful part of its ever-expanding catalog, so it’s unsurprising that it’s hard at work on a third entry. With the advent of newer hardware and a heap of lessons learned from the first two games, The Division 3 is all but certain to land with a bang and further cement the franchise as one of Ubisoft’s most beloved.
Beloved turn-based strategy series Heroes of Might and Magic suffered a renaming six games in, with the last two entries known officially as Might and Magic: Heroes 6 and 7 just to mess with the order of your library. Publishers Ubisoft have relented though, and gone back to the HoMM naming convention for the next in the series, the recently announced prequel Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.

I'm back into guessing territory here, but I can also see Ubisoft making a minor showing today. With both Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed Shadows really very close at this point, this is another chance for Ubisoft to get a whole heap of eyeballs on two of what promise to be some of the biggest games of the rest of the year. Outlaws is now only days away, and Shadows is stepping up the marketing, so ONL seems a natural beat.
