Ultra-chill puzzle game Wilmot's Warehouse is getting an even more laid-back sequel in which titular character Wilmot ditches work to spend time at home doing jigsaw puzzles.
Sometimes you wait forever for a bus, and then two completely different modes of transport come along at once. Such is the case with Bohemia Interactive, whose long awaited Arma 4 is still in the reforging stage of its development. In the meantime, Bohemia has announced that it's publishing two very different games at this year's Gamescom, one that's all about airships, and another that involves a weird horse.
Blasphemous creator The Game Kitchen revealed a brand new title at last night's Future Game Show, and while it's a very different beast from the studio's challenging 2D soulslikes, it does carry over the team's fascination with Catholic imagery and doctrine. The Stone of Madness is a real-time tactics game in the vein of Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3, but set in a haunted 18th Century Jesuit monastery which you must escape from before your ragtag team of talented prisoners all go insane.

PC Gaming is beset by terrible supplementary launchers, from the rubbish EA app to the pointless Ubisoft Connect, all the way down to the digital wasteland that is the Microsoft Store. One of the most baffling examples of the form, however, is the 2K launcher. Rarely glimpsed (because it's only mandated for about seven games) the 2K launcher does basically nothing apart from force you to click a second button when you launch some (not all) 2K published games on Steam. It also occasionally causes performance problems for those games, such as slowing down superhero shenanigans in Marvel's Midnight Suns.

Helldivers 2 lets players fight all manner of giant alien bugs. There are scuttling bugs, flying bugs, armoured bugs, barfing bugs, and as of the controversial Escalation of Freedom update, colossal betentacled impaling bugs. But one Helldivers 2 player has encountered a rare species of Terminid no Helldiver has ever clapped eyes on before: bouncing bugs.
