Destructive testing of six liquid cooling radiators reveals some don't match the marketing

How do you find out what's actually inside your all-in-one liquid cooler? What's clear from an investigation by Igor's Lab is that the manufacturer's specs sheet won't always provide an accurate answer to that question. Asus ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD review

The promise of vibrant worlds strewn across a 49-inch ultrawide OLED is what a PC gamer's dreams are made of. The Asus ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD makes good on that promise. Nvidia's game filter for RTX GPUs lets you enable HDR in games that never supported it

Games look better with High Dynamic Range (HDR) enabled. The technology allows for a greater range of colour and contrast to produce more glorious images on-screen. The issue is not every game offers HDR support—in fact, most don't. If you're using an HDR-capable gaming monitor but you don't play any games that are created with it in mind, you either have to resign yourself to never thinking about it or get active and utilise some software able to add (infer) HDR from SDR. There are a few such applications available, including Windows own Auto HDR, but you can now add Nvidia's new implementation to the list.

Intel Core i9 14900KS surfaces ahead of release with claims to a 6.2GHz Turbo and peak wattage to make your graphics card jealous

If you thought Intel had already strung every drop of performance out of its top Raptor Lake die, you'd be wrong. Though it does appear that it's getting tougher and tougher for the company to crank up clock speeds. The unreleased Core i9 14900KS has been spotted in the OCCT benchmark database with a supposed multiplier of 62x—it's aiming at 6.2GHz, effectively—and with peak wattage exceeding 400W.
