April is a monster month for city builders, with the Frostpunk 2 beta having arrived this week, top wishlist pick Manor Lords launching next week, and the arrival of several other city building games like Vertical Kingdom, Laysara: Summit Kingdom, and Of Life And Land.

But Prime TV's Fallout adaptation has raised a few questions among fans and Fallout lore enthusiasts, particularly when it comes to one important historic location: Shady Sands.
Survival and town-building RPG Bellwright will release on Steam this month, with developers Donkey Crew announcing that they're targeting April 23 for a release. The Fallout TV series arrived this week and the response has been almost entirely positive. Almost. Not everyone is on board with Prime TV's adaptation of the beloved Fallout series: some fans have a major beef when it comes to the repercussions the show has on established Fallout lore, even though the show is set after the events of the games.
In the sixth episode of Prime TV's Fallout series we're treated to a pre-war Galaxy News broadcast hosted by Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins), debonair star of stage and screen. The broadcast takes place deep inside a Vault-Tec Vault, as Howard gives us a tour of model 96-JQ-1164 which has been constructed with sturdy three-foot-thick lead casing. As Howard puts it: «Strong enough to keep out the rads… and the Reds.»
On my personal Starfield wishlist is an expansion to the planetary base system. Bases can be useful—you can hire NPCs to work there and generate resources from the planets you build on—but they're not much fun, and once you've set them up there's very little reason to hang around. It's a part of the game I was looking forward to the most, but it feels like a big step down from Fallout 4's base building system.
