It's been almost three years since we found out that former Naughty Dog and Visceral Games writer and creative director Amy Hennig was working on a Marvel game with her team at Skydance New Media. Today, Plaion (formerly known as Koch Media) and Skydance announced a global publishing deal for the single player action/adventure game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra - the multi-protagonist WW2 game featuring Captain America and Black Panther - is now set to be published by Plaion, a subsidiary of Embracer and a future member of the Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends supergroup.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has found a publisher: Plaion. The company broke the news in a press release Monday, saying that the game is still on track to release in 2025.

San Diego Comic-Con is a popular time to announce any big news for the geekdom, but it's also a popular time for big news to accidentally get revealed early. Today, an attendee took a photo of the booth for comic publisher Dark Horse that may have leaked plans for a remaster of two Soul Reaver games. The image shows a statue of characters Raziel and Kain, and the artwork is accompanied by a sign with branding that reads Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver I and II Remastered. The sign has since been removed from the display.
