Intel Arc Battlemage “G21” GPU With 20 Xe2 Cores, 12 GB Memory & 2850 MHz Clock Speed Benchmarked

Intel's next-generation Arc Battlemage "G21" GPU has been tested at Geekbench, showcasing similar performance as the Arc A770 in early tests.

Intel Arc Battlemage "G21" GPU Spotted At Geekbench: 20 Xe2 Cores, 12 GB Memory & 2850 MHz Clocks

Intel's Xe2 graphics architecture has made its formal debut in the Lunar Lake SOCs, powering its iGPU portion. While we have got an early taste of what Xe2 brings to the table, everyone is looking forward to the discrete lineup which will launch under the Arc "Battlemage" series. We have seen some Arc Battlemage leaks in the past but this new one gives us the early performance figures and specifications for one of the configurations.

The Arc Battlemage GPU appears as the "8086:E20B" PCI ID in the Geekbench benchmark and has been listed under the "Intel Xe Graphics RI" device name. The GPU features 160 compute units that are dual array and form up to 20 Xe2 cores. The GPU clock speed is set to 2850 MHz which is much higher than what we have seen on any consumer-level discrete graphics card & this particular SKU is configured with 12 GB of memory.

We know that this is an Intel Arc Battlemage GPU because the particular device ID has already appeared within Linux Kernel drivers and patches. The particular GPU being used here is called "G21" and is one of the many Battlemage GPUs that we will see in the lineup. Following is the full list of Battlemage GPUs (via DRM_Xe):
