Helldivers 2 Latest Patch Delivers Buffs Galore, Chemical Agents Warbond Now Live

Arrowhead Games recently dropped a massive update for Helldivers 2 that was a huge crowd pleaser full of buffs for some of the game’s most beloved weapons, anti tank gear, and stratagems. Along with the buffs are a number of nerfs to a variety of enemy health and armor values.

The combination of buffs to player power and nerfs to enemy durability has resulted in a game that’s overall a good deal easier than it was before. Many players are enjoying the changes, though some have complained that the game is now too easy. It appears Arrowhead agrees and studio CCO & Helldivers 2 creative director Johan Pilestedt replied with the following to one player on Twitter/X who is looking for more challenge in the game:

Arrowhead also dropped a 30+ minute video on the update discussing all of the new updates and features, which include a new Galactic War that will display the location of strategic assets, so that players can make more informed decisions about what they want to do next.

Helldivers 2 is available now on PC and PlayStation 5. The Chemical Agents Warbond is also live, adding 21 new items to the game, including two new Stratagems, a first for Warbonds in the game.
