Call of Duty: MW3 and Warzone Fans Can Unlock a Free Monster Energy Skin

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has released a Monster Energy-themed operator skin that can be used in Warzone as well. The new skin can be claimed by all Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone users and is not locked behind a battle pass.

It's not often that Call of Duty releases a free skin for all users, although the franchise does often release «free» skins for those subscribed to certain subscription services like Amazon Prime. Recently, Prime Gaming members were given a free Call of Duty bundle that gave them an operator skin, blueprint, and other cosmetics. Unfortunately, this bundle is no longer available, but Prime members can currently claim the Raceway 2080 bundle for Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 (items will carry forward to Modern Warfare 3) and the Locus Side Swindler blueprint for Call of Duty Mobile. However, the availability of Call of Duty's newest offering casts a much wider net.

Call of Duty fans can claim the new Monster Energy skin by visiting the Activision website and logging into their Activision account. After following the link and logging in, players will automatically be granted the new skin, called The Beast. It depicts an individual wearing a motocross-like helmet in a Monster Energy-colored outfit, complete with green, purple, and black coloring. It's not clear how long the free offer will be available, but in the meantime, players have additional Monster Energy-themed content that they can unlock.

Back in November, Call of Duty launched its Monster Energy rewards promotion, which allows users to submit codes taken from their Monster Energy cans to earn Monster-themed blueprints, operator skins, other cosmetics, and double XP tokens. Fans need to submit seven codes to unlock all of the promotion's content, although only two codes need to be submitted before a user earns the first operator skin. This promotion is still live and will run until March 31.
