Bloodborne Remaster Shows Amazing Attention to Detail in New Video

The Bloodborne PC remaster project is being developed with great attention to detail, as showcased in a new video shared online this week.

The project developer fromsoftserve is taking great care in the creation of the project, showcasing in a new video how much the game changes by adding point lights to candles while explaining how the game renders point lights and how much performance could be impacted by these changes. The video also showcases some of the improvements made to Yahar 'gul Unseen Village, performance concerns, and how the performance impact could be mitigated.

The Bloodborne remaster project is being made possible by the amazing improvements made to the ShadPS4 PlayStation 4 emulator. In just a few months, the emulator went from being able to only boot the game to running it with improved resolution and performance, and even managing to run it on a dated machine sporting a GTX 960 with only 2 GB of VRAM. Emulation still isn't 100% perfect, but it definitely won't take long to finally be able to properly experience Bloodborne on PC, something that Sony still doesn't seem to be interested in offering.

More information on the ShadPS4 emulator that is making the Bloodborne remaster project possible can be found on its official website.
