Bethesda Reveals What Level Players Should Be Before Playing Starfield Shattered Space

With 's first major expansion right around the corner, Bethesda wants players to know that could be a little more challenging than they expect. There's been a great deal of excitement surrounding the RPG's massive DLC as the community holds out hope that will deliver more of what they've come to love about. While the base game framed its sci-fi universe with a grounded lens, the expansion is looking to make players fear the great unknown by having them delve deeper into the mysterious House Va'ruun.

Over on 's official blog, Bethesda recommends that players be at least Level 35 before tackling. The developer held off on providing details as to why that's necessary, simply hinting that Va’ruun’kai, the hidden homeworld of House Va'ruun, "." Given everything known about the expansion, which seems to place more emphasis on combat encounters in the form of new intergalactic threats, it stands to reason that a decently equipped character is needed to face down the enemies; Fortunately, leveling in is fairly quick for a game of its size.
