Misprint is sort of an average joker in Balatro. The card, which looks like it got badly streaked coming out of the color printer, offers a random multiplier between 0 and 23, which averages out at 11.5. That's not a bad mult in the early game, but I rarely buy Misprint anymore, and when I do, I usually don't hang onto it for very long. There are far better jokers out there.

PlayStation exclusive Until Dawn is making the jump to PC next month, a little short of a decade after its PS4 debut. It's a branching horror story about a group of young people stuck in an awful situation in a remote locale, an evergreen setting for horror of the slasher variety. Sony released some details about its PC version today, which will release at the same time as a revamped PS5 version, and the good news is that PC support hasn't been an afterthought.
The European Consumer Organization, along with 22 member organizations from 17 countries, has filed a complaint with the authorities who enforce EU consumer protection laws accusing Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Ubisoft, and other major game companies of «purposefully tricking consumers» with in-game currencies that are «used to confuse and disconnect consumers from the real value of their in-game spending.»
Steam's old Family Sharing feature, which allowed members of the same household to play each other's Steam games, has been replaced with the new Steam Families system, which graduated from beta this week. The revamped system does the same thing as the old one, but adds new features and comes with some new stipulations, including a region restriction.
Steam's latest family sharing system, just called Steam Families, comes with lots of rules designed to keep it from turning into a game lending free-for-all. Year-long cooldown periods prevent us from joining and leaving Steam Family groups as often as we want, for example.
The entire staff of Annapurna Interactive, the publisher of multiple celebrated titles, including the well-known cat game Stray, reportedly resigned this month after a dispute with its owner.
