Just as the sun rises every day, another ambitious RPG has inevitably been delayed. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 isn't far off, but it is now slightly further away than planned. It's going to miss its initial release window of 2024, instead slipping into 2025. The new release date is February 11.
Earlier this year, Warhorse Studios finally satisfied the many fans of its debut title with the announcement of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. The Czech developer had been quiet for a very long time but came out of the shadows promising a 2024 launch and a bigger, better game in every respect.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is going to be a massive game, much larger than the original. Czech developer Warhorse Studios said as much ever since it admitted the game not only existed but would launch soon, stating it is roughly twice as big as the first installment.

That's why I play games like Assassin's Creed, Metro 2033, and Indika in the native languages of their settings. Why should I listen to British or American voice actors affect accents when I could hear the game's script in proper Deutsch, Español, or Russkii?
What once started as a Kickstarter-backed project, went on to make a name for itself as a medieval RPG with a uniquely grounded approach when it launched in 2018, eschewing some of the fantasy elements commonly seen in the genre and focusing on a story more rooted in the history of the Czech Republic, and developer Warhorse Studios is officially returning to its world with the upcoming. The story of the original title followed a blacksmith's son who sought revenge after the decimation of his hometown and murder of his family, and the sequel sees him far more involved in the politics of the land as he interacts more with the nobles of the land.
