Starting Wednesday July 24, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will hit Microsoft's Game Pass service, including PC Game Pass. It'll be the second big Activision Blizzard game to hit the service since Diablo 4 earlier this year. It's the full game, including the singleplayer campaign, multiplayer mode, and the cooperative PvE zombies mode—which comes in extraction shooting flavor for Modern Warfare 3.
Microsoft has been taking a lot of hits over its Xbox Game Pass price hike and the overall lackluster offering of games. So to make up for it, they are offering a Call of Duty game for the first time on its virtual buffet. Unfortunately, it’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, one of the lowest rated games in the series.
Xbox isn’t waiting until Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to get a Call of Duty game on Game Pass. The company announced Tuesday that 2023’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be added to the service on Wednesday, July 24.

Even though we all enjoyed the best N64 games during that generation, there was a lot of pressure on the GameCube to take things to the next level. After all, Nintendo had to compete with the best PlayStation 2 games and best Xbox games in that generation. While it might not have sold as well as Sony’s system, the GameCube still managed to release some classics that we still consider some of the best games of all time.
