As memories of CES fade into the distance, the tech industry quickly turns its gaze to the rest of the 2024 event line up. One of the biggest is likely to be Computex, held once again this year at the Taipei World Trade Centre in Taiwan, and delivering the opening keynote is none other than AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su. It's not the first time Dr. Su has held a keynote at the show, but I think this is her first time opening the show.

Cozy life and farming sim MMO Palia launched in open beta last year as a free-to-play game with its own launcher on PC (and also on the Nintendo Switch and Epic Store). After a bit of a wait, it's launching on Steam next month too, and to incentivize players to wishlist it there, Singularity 6 has devised a community campaign with a slightly threatening aura: a frog plushie of yet-to-be-determined size.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Trailer Shows Terrifying New Bosses, June Date Locked In
After much waiting and hoping, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware promised to finally give us the first trailer for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree today, and boy did they deliver. This first three-minute look at the expansion focuses heavily on new bosses, and they look like a very intimidating lot – a towering flaming effigy, a twisted Chinese dragon type thing, what appears to be a giant stick bug, and more. This is all lorded over by what would seem to be the new big bad of the expansion, Messmer the Impaler (that’s him in the header image).

As well as raking it in with his charity stunts, James «MrBeast» Donaldson has been dabbling in the confectionary game with his Feastables brand. Apparently his chocolate bars, which include a peanut butter bar called Deez Nuts (sigh), are pretty popular, though the same could be said for his burgers, which MrBeast says are so «raw» and «inedible» that he sued his partner Virtual Dining Concepts.
