Dragon’s Dogma 2 Tops Entire Rest of Series, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Loses Steam in March

The former NPD Group (now named “Circana”) has released its full North American sales data for March, and it seems like it was an up-and-down month for the industry. Players spent $4.9 billion on games, additional content, and hardware in March, up 4 percent year-on-year. This increase came from mobile and software spending, as hardware sales were down 31 percent year-on-year with PS5 #1 in terms of unit and dollar sales, Switch #2 in terms of unit sales, and Xbox Series X/S #2 in terms of dollar sales.

Todd Howard says the Fallout show was so fanatical about detail that 'We were sharing the files right from the games and they were 3D printing things'

Say what you like about Bethesda (and I will), but it's a studio that's great at detail. Priest accused by cops of spending over $40,000 of church funds on Candy Crush and Pokémon Go, says it might have happened because he's not a 'details guy'

In what's becoming something of a running theme for PCG's news coverage this week, a Catholic priest in Pottstown, Pennsylvania has been accused by police of dropping over $40,000 of the Church's money on mobile games. Namely, Candy Crush, Mario Kart Tour, Pokémon Go, various slot machine and hidden object games, and Cash Frenzy.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Engineering Sample Gets Benchmarked, Revealing A ‘2 + 6’ CPU Cluster, But Operating At A Low 2.40GHz Frequency

Qualcomm is expected to officially unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in October this year, so it is no surprise that the flagship’s engineering sample is being thoroughly tested and benchmarked to iron out the problems before commercial units are sent to the company’s phone partners. However, early results show that the chipset’s performance is beyond disappointing, with the performance cores said to be running at a significantly lower resolution than what previous reports suggested.
